| About Us If you've found a home at Shooters Station it's partly by design. We're just local folks, helping our friends and neighbors to defend themselves. Our customers definitely come from all walks of life, all genders and all ages, with most folks just wanting to get more proficient and comfortable with their guns. This way, if they are ever in a situation where they need to defend themselves or their families, they can. Me, I've always loved guns. I hunted as a kid and then spent lots of time around all sorts of guns during my time in the Marine Corps. When my wife Georgia and I settled in the Houston area after some years of living in Alaska and then Scotland, I started shooting in competitions and attending gun shows. One day I came home to Georgia frowning over the most recent entries in the checkbook' she told me that I was spending 'so much money on guns and shooting that I may as well just open my own damn range!' Hard to believe but Shooters Station is fixin to celebrate its 11 anniversary on June 6th. Animals are our other passion. We've got 14 dogs (11 of which are adopted), 3 horses, 3 goats, 1 pig and llamas on the way! We are also very involved in animal rescue and in helping to find homes for animals that need them.
